Julissa Soto is a public health advocate and the founder and CEO of Julissa Soto Latino Health Equity Consulting. For more than three decades, she has championed equality, inclusion, and health equity for Latino immigrant communities and other underserved populations in Colorado and across the nation. Her advocacy has included efforts to secure Medicaid access for undocumented children and pregnant women in Colorado and to influence public health policy.

Through her consulting work, Soto provides keynote speaking, training, and consulting services focused on culturally relevant health advocacy. Her programs support healthcare providers and promotores with practical tools, help build understanding between healthcare systems and Latino communities, and include the design and delivery of community health campaigns. Her work addresses issues such as mental health, diabetes prevention, youth violence, and suicide prevention.

Soto also leads or supports community initiatives including Grita Tu Identidad, health outreach and vaccination programs, and Casa Inmigrante Clinic. Through events, media, and public engagement, she works to amplify community voices and advance more inclusive, responsive healthcare.
