Junior Seahawks

The Wilmington Junior Seahawks are a Tier II youth hockey program based at Polar Ice Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina. The organization competes in the Carolinas Hockey League and the Atlantic Coast Hockey Conference, serving players across age divisions from 10U through 18U. Its stated mission is to build a championship tradition through consistent practices and games, supported by a team-first culture grounded in dedication, commitment, and family.

The Seahawks offer youth hockey teams, registration, and a pre-tryout clinic, along with coaching opportunities and information about USA Hockey coaching certification. The organization also provides resources for players, parents, coaches, and volunteers, including conduct guidelines, health and safety policies, financial aid details, parent guides, and grant and scholarship opportunities. Team stores, approved vendors, fundraising activities, and community events such as a golf tournament, Giving Tuesday, and Pints for Pucks help support the program. Families can follow schedules, team updates, and news through the organization’s website.
