Juoksa

Jousimetsästysseura Juoksa r.y. is a bowhunting and field archery association based in Orimattila, Finland. Founded in 2015, the club welcomes people interested in archery, hunting and learning about bowhunting, including beginners without previous hunting experience. Its activities are centered on developing practical skills, sharing members’ experience and promoting knowledge of hunting regulations and outdoor traditions.

A key facility is Juoksa’s 3D archery course, designed especially to help hunters prepare for real-world shooting situations. The course features more than 30 three-dimensional targets, marked shooting distances from 6 to 45 metres, elevated shooting towers and additional target and steel deer practice lanes extending up to 130 metres. Members can also take part in field archery practice, competitions, training and club events. The association aims to provide hunting opportunities for members and regularly maintains and improves its course. New members can receive guidance on choosing equipment, basic shooting technique and bow setup. Membership applications are considered throughout the year, and prospective members are encouraged to contact the club and visit the range.
