Just Coffee Cooperative is a worker-owned coffee roaster based in Madison, Wisconsin. Committed to transparency, human dignity, and environmental sustainability, we have built long-term relationships with small-scale coffee growers around the world. Our farmer-partners work tirelessly on ecologically integrated family plots to produce high-quality, organic beans.
However, they often struggle to find buyers. In an act of solidarity, we pledged to purchase their coffee and sell it, even though we had no experience in the coffee trade. Since then, we have grown in expertise and now work with over 15 grower cooperatives globally, importing their beans through our importing cooperative, Cooperative Coffees.
We uphold transparency by allowing consumers to verify the price paid to farmers through our online published contracts. As a fair-trade business, we value honesty and prioritize forming long-term relationships. In 2017, we became B-Corp certified, further validating our commitment to sustainable practices.
By supporting us, you are voting for a more just world and making a positive impact on real people. Explore our wide range of coffee products and join us in brewing a better future
