About Justitia
Justitia, founded in August 2014, is Denmark's first independent legal think tank dedicated to promoting the rule of law and fundamental human rights. Headquartered in Copenhagen, Justitia actively engages with policymakers, experts, and the public to provide legal insights and analyses on contemporary issues affecting freedom rights both domestically and internationally. Under the leadership of CEO Jacob Mchangama, the organization focuses on critical areas such as freedom of expression and human rights, conducting extensive research and publishing reports that assess the state of free speech online and its implications in democratic societies.
Justitia also organizes events and discussions, facilitating dialogue on pressing legal topics, and produces the podcast “Clear and Present Danger,” which explores the history of free speech. With a commitment to education and advocacy, Justitia strives to influence positive change in legal frameworks, ensuring the protection of individual liberties and promoting informed public discourse
