Just Like Us is a UK charity dedicated to helping LGBT+ young people feel safe, supported and able to thrive. Working nationwide with young people, schools, parents and carers, the organisation tackles bullying and promotes belonging and inclusion. Its programmes reach four in five secondary schools and thousands of primary schools, while its training and resources support more than 14,000 teachers across the UK.

For schools, Just Like Us provides free LGBT+-inclusive teaching resources, talks, teacher training and a Pride Groups programme to help create welcoming learning environments. It also offers guidance and support for parents and carers, including an LGBT+ Guide to help families become more informed and supportive allies. Young people can access support directly and take part in the charity’s Ambassador Programme, which welcomes LGBT+ people aged 18 to 25 from anywhere in the UK. Ambassadors build skills, share their experiences and help improve life for future generations.
