Juvemaia ACDC is a community sports association founded in 1990 in Maia, Portugal. Dedicated to promoting basketball, the club welcomes participants from age four through adulthood, offering opportunities to learn, train and compete while building skills that extend beyond the court. Its programs emphasize teamwork, discipline, personal development and an active, healthy lifestyle. Juvemaia’s approach is guided by competence, ethical conduct and fair play, with a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity.

The club supports more than 150 athletes representing eight nationalities, with over 15 coaches and more than 15 team managers. Training takes place across four sports halls, with more than 55 hours of sessions each week. Alongside regular practices and competitions, Juvemaia shares club news, highlights athlete achievements and participates in local sporting events. The association also offers ways for the community to get involved through membership and donations. By combining basketball with personal growth and community connection, Juvemaia aims to help develop both capable athletes and engaged citizens.
