About Agribusiness Kenya
Kenya Agribusiness and Agroindustry Alliance (KAAA) is the leading agro-processing Business Membership Organization (BMO) in Kenya. Established in 2013, KAAA aims to enhance productivity and competitiveness across various agricultural product value chains in the country. As a registered company under the Companies Act of Kenya, KAAA fosters collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders in the agribusiness sector.
Endorsed by the Kenyan Government, through the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Cooperatives, KAAA plays a crucial role as the lead Agro-processing implementing partner in the Kenya Industrialization Transformation Program (KITP).
KAAA's vision is to unify agricultural value chains, making Kenya agribusiness and agroindustry globally competitive in line with Vision 2030. They strive to inspire globally competitive agribusiness supply chains in Kenya, guided by their core values of professionalism, inclusiveness, courage, client focus, and equity.
KAAA fulfills key roles including supporting policy formation, value chain development, knowledge sharing, trade and investment promotion, capacity building, and clustering SMEs to form cooperatives under special economic zones.
