Kaarinan Yleisurheilu

Kaarinan Yleisurheilu is an athletics club in Kaarina, Finland, offering children and young people aged 6–19 opportunities to enjoy sport, develop skills and take part in competitions. Building on a local athletics heritage dating back to 1932, the club aims to preserve that tradition while creating a strong future for the sport in the area. Its activities cater to different ages and experience levels: younger participants discover athletics through play and varied physical activity, while older children and teenagers can access quality coaching and train towards their own goals.

The club’s programme includes regular training groups, competitions and events, with an emphasis on community spirit, encouragement and positive experiences both on and off the track. Prospective members can find a suitable group and register through the club’s online system. Kaarinan Yleisurheilu also welcomes people who want to contribute as coaches, event officials or volunteers, and invites organisations to explore partnership opportunities.

Its approach brings athletics to participants from playful first steps through to competitive sport
