Káčatko

Káčatko is a children’s swimming programme serving families in the Nováky and Lehota pod Vtáčnikom area. It offers swimming courses for children aged 4 to 15, welcoming beginners as well as young swimmers developing their skills. Lessons introduce children to the water gradually and playfully, helping them build confidence, safe habits and a positive relationship with swimming. Small groups allow experienced instructors to give children personal attention and follow their progress. Children are grouped according to age and ability, and take part in lessons without parents, under instructor supervision.

The programme is led by swimming coaches Jaroslav Stehlík and Tatiana Tkáčová Stehlíková, whose backgrounds include competitive swimming and specialist training in teaching children. Parents can check course dates, ask for guidance and register a child using an online form or a paper application. Courses are ordinarily associated with Nováky and Lehota pod Vtáčnikom; a notice says swimming is temporarily taking place in Lehota and Prievidza, with Nováky sessions relocated to Prievidza for technical reasons.
