KACC, Kerrville's Arts and Cultural Hub, was established in 1995 by a group of community artists with a mission to provide a platform for local artists and promote arts and culture education in the community. In its early years, the organization hosted art shows and education programs in various locations. Thanks to the support of James Avery and Bank of The Hills, KACC acquired the Kerrville Post Office in 1999, which underwent ten years of renovations to transform it into a stunning and functional art gallery.
Today, KACC attracts over 20,000 visitors annually and is home to sixteen affiliated groups representing more than 500 artists from various mediums. Three galleries display up to forty exhibitions each year, showcasing the vibrant artistic talent of the Kerrville community. Additionally, the KACC gift shop highlights exceptional local artists and provides them with a platform to market their works.
With ambitions to become a cultural anchor in downtown Kerrville and a nationally recognized arts destination, KACC's programs and services continue to expand, supporting and celebrating the local arts and artisans. Join us at KACC to engage, learn, and appreciate our rich arts and cultural heritage in the heart of Texas
