Seit mehr als 50 Jahren ist der Deutsche Kaffeeverband e.V. die Interessenvereinigung für Unternehmen und Organisationen, die in Deutschland Kaffee handeln, verarbeiten oder in anderer Weise damit wirtschaften. Er repräsentiert rund 380 Unternehmen entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette von Kaffee – darunter Nachhaltigkeitsorganisationen, Kaffeehändler und -makler, Kaffeeröstereien, Hersteller von Löslichem Kaffee, Entkoffeinierer, Kaffee- und Röstmaschinenhersteller, Logistiker und Labore. In den Jahren 2014, 2018 und 2024 wurde der Deutsche Kaffeeverband von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Verbandsmanagement e.V. (DGVM) als „Verband des Jahres“ ausgezeichnet.
