Kaibosh Food Rescue is New Zealand's first food rescue organization committed to the mission of Zero Food Poverty and Zero Food Waste. With operations in Wellington, the Hutt Valley, Kāpiti, and Horowhenua, Kaibosh connects the food industry with community groups, ensuring that quality surplus food reaches those in need instead of being needlessly discarded. Through the dedication of over 170 volunteers, Kaibosh rescues and sorts food seven days a week, redistributing up to 75,000kg of surplus food each month to charities and community groups.

This not only provides over 214,000 meals to those who need it most but also contributes to a significant reduction of 22,425 kg in carbon emissions.
