About Kainaat Studios
BRAND KAINAAT STUDIOS Kainaat Studios, a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity, is dedicated to creating engaging and informative astronomy videos in Urdu. The name KAINAAT translates to universe or cosmos in Urdu, reflecting their mission to spark curiosity and empower a new generation. Founded by astrophysicist Salman Hameed, Kainaat Studios aims to share the wonders of the universe with the Urdu-speaking community.
Dr. Hameed's own passion for astronomy was ignited by watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos in Pakistan during his 9th grade. Inspired by this experience, he pursued a Ph.
D. Science communication is Dr. Hameed's lifelong passion, and he has been involved in popularizing science and astronomy for over 30 years.
