About Kairos Canada
KAIROS Canada is an ecumenical program, jointly administered by the United Church of Canada, with the goal of promoting justice and sustainable development. They collaborate with ten member denominations and religious organizations to create and deliver impactful initiatives. With a focus on various areas of work including ecological justice, gender justice, indigenous rights, and migrant justice, KAIROS is dedicated to addressing pressing social issues.
Their programs, such as the COP27 Delegation, KAIROS Blanket Exercise, and the MERE Hub, aim to create a prophetic witness and inspire action towards justice. Additionally, they offer resources such as webinars, documents, and their annual report to educate and inform the public. KAIROS Canada encourages engagement and invites individuals to get involved by joining their network, participating in advocacy and campaigns, hosting workshops, or volunteering.
