Kairosmithy is a Magic: The Gathering card discovery platform designed to help players find cards by what they do, not only by their names. Its search tool accepts card names, partial names, approximate spellings, or descriptions of effects, making it useful when players remember a card’s function but not its exact wording. Users can explore cards intuitively and discover alternatives that share similar abilities or achieve comparable effects.

The platform also helps players follow connections between cards, uncover potential synergies, and find inspiration for deckbuilding. Whether searching for a particular effect or browsing related spells, creatures, and artifacts, players can use Kairosmithy to broaden their options and explore the game’s card pool. The site offers guidance on writing effective searches and explains that it is best suited to queries about a card’s core function or name, rather than highly specific filters involving formats, prices, or multiple attributes. Kairosmithy is currently in active development and invites feedback from users.
