The Swiss Platform for Sustainable Cocoa (SWISSCO) is an association dedicated to addressing the challenges in the cocoa sector by fostering knowledge sharing and finding common solutions. It brings together stakeholders from across the Swiss cocoa industry, including chocolate manufacturers, cocoa traders, food retailers, the federal government, non-profit organizations, and research institutions. Collaboration and strong partnerships are essential to effectively tackle the issues in the cocoa sector and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

SWISSCO's members are committed to sharing their responsibility, setting common goals, implementing joint projects, and exchanging knowledge and experience. They also track progress using an internationally harmonized monitoring system. SWISSCO builds upon the 2012 Global Cocoa Agenda, which emphasizes inclusive and participatory approaches involving all stakeholders in the cocoa value chain.

As a member of the International Cocoa Organization, Switzerland has adopted this agenda and is actively working to strengthen national multi-stakeholder forums. By promoting sustainable cocoa practices, SWISSCO aims to contribute to a more equitable and environmentally-friendly cocoa industry
