About Kakteen-Haage
Welcome to Kakteen Haage, the world's oldest cactus nursery that offers an extensive range of cacti and succulents. With over 3,500 different species and around 2,000 varieties, Kakteen Haage is a haven for cactus enthusiasts. You can conveniently shop for your favorite plants online or explore our greenhouses located in Erfurt, Germany.
Our nursery is home to a mesmerizing display of cacti and other succulents spanning 1500 square meters. Don't miss the exciting Kakteenbörse (Cactus Fair) held at EGAPark, happening alongside the Thüringer Gärtnertage (Thuringian Gardening Days) on August 26th and 27th. This event brings together cacti gardeners from all over Europe, offering a vast selection of plants in Hall 1.
Additionally, our own Sommerfest querbeet (Summer Festival) will be held in collaboration with the herbal nursery Valeriana. To celebrate our 200th anniversary, we recently held a special event at our greenhouse, where we took a trip down memory lane with former employees and shared stories and photos from the past.
