KAL Fitness

Kirklees Active Leisure (KAL) is a not-for-profit charitable trust that manages leisure and sports facilities across the Kirklees area, with a mission to inspire active, healthy lives. Its venues include leisure centres, gyms, swimming pools, sports complexes and tennis facilities, as well as Bradley Park Golf Course. KAL supports people of different ages and fitness levels through flexible membership options, pay-as-you-play activities and a broad programme of fitness classes and sports.

Swimming is a key offering, with award-winning facilities, lessons for children and adults, and aqua classes. Other services include gym-based fitness support, activities for under-16s, health and wellbeing programmes, and a variety of sports and recreational sessions. Customers can use the KAL app to access class bookings, timetables and membership offers. The organisation also provides training courses and promotes careers and volunteering opportunities. Through its network of local centres and range of activities, KAL aims to make exercise and recreation accessible to communities throughout Kirklees.
