Kales is an online platform for chatting with AI characters and developing interactive stories. In a desktop or mobile browser, users can explore anime-style and realistic fictional characters, including AI girlfriends, boyfriends, friends, fantasy figures, and story characters. A preview of the normal chat experience is available before signing up, so visitors can try an initial conversation.

Users can choose everyday chat, roleplay, or story mode to shape their interactions, with roleplay and story mode available as membership features. Those who want a more tailored experience can create an original character by setting details such as appearance, name, personality, hobbies, job, relationship, scene, and opening message. The same character can then be used across conversations and creative tools.

Kales also offers image generation for exploring outfits, expressions, poses, and scenes, as well as short video creation from text or an existing character image. Its Freestyle feature supports quick experimentation with styles and creative ideas.
