Kalippo

Kalippo is a small-scale after-school care provider in Enschede, founded by Stefan and Gwendolyn around the belief that time after school should be genuine free time, not an extension of the school day. At its location in ’t Hoogeland, a consistent team of pedagogical professionals creates a welcoming, safe environment where children are known as individuals and can choose how to spend their afternoons. Kalippo’s activities range from outdoor play, football and bouncing on a play structure to baking, crafts, building projects and music lessons.

Children are also encouraged to explore, relax, read or simply take a break after school. The team works with parents through personal contact and open communication, and adapts its approach to each child’s needs and interests. Kalippo focuses specifically on out-of-school care, offering families information about its pedagogical approach, policies and fees, as well as the opportunity to arrange a tour and discuss suitable days.
