Kallan esy

Kallan Eläinsuojelu ry is a volunteer animal welfare association founded in 2020, serving Kuopio and nearby areas in Finland. Its main mission is to care for homeless cats and help them find suitable new homes. Much of the association’s work focuses on trapping cats from unmanaged populations, arranging the care they need, and preparing them for adoption. It also helps cats born outdoors and, when resources allow, animals changing homes. The association works with animal welfare veterinarians to support its efforts.

Kallan Eläinsuojelu shares information about cats awaiting homes and those already adopted, and provides an adoption application for prospective adopters. People can also learn how to become a foster home and support the association’s work through donations. Its website features news and updates about animal arrivals, fundraising and ongoing activities. Donations can be made through MobilePay or bank transfer. Through volunteer care, cooperation and community support, Kallan Eläinsuojelu works to improve the welfare of homeless cats in its local area.
