About Kalmar Stadsfest
Kalmar Stadsfest is a three-day city festival that brings music and activities to the streets and squares of Kalmar, Sweden. The 2026 edition runs from 6 to 8 August, with performances at venues including Stortorget and Larmtorget. Its programme features artists and events such as A*Teens, RIX-FM Festival, Melody Club, Sahara Hotnights, Noll2, Clara Mae and Emilia Pantic, alongside activities for visitors to explore across the city.
The festival website helps guests plan their visit with a searchable programme, festival map, downloadable PDF schedule and saved favourites. Map information includes stages and areas, accessible viewing spaces, toilets, water stations, bicycle parking, recycling stations and defibrillators. Kalmar Stadsfest also shares visitor news and practical information about travel, accessibility, safety and sustainable participation. The event has received Greentime certification as a sustainable event following an independent review. It is organised by Destination Kalmar in cooperation with Kalmar Municipality, with support from partners including Barometern, Kalmar Energi and Kalmar Vatten.
