About Kamaperu
Kama Textiles is a Peruvian Home Textile brand that was founded in 2019 by Claudia Sarmiento and Daniepaola Cabellos, two best friends with a deep passion for the art of weaving and handknitting. Their goal was to create meaningful and sustainable home decor items. Claudia, the commercial manager, brings expertise from working in the home department of various retail chain stores and has a keen eye for luxury and quality products.
Daniepaola, the business manager, has experience in sustainable projects and has worked as a liaison between artisans and management in government and non-profit organizations. Combining their love for natural fibers and their shared vision for sustainable production, Kama Textiles offers a range of eco-friendly home textiles. Their products are designed to last, adhering to the slow fashion trend, and are made using rapidly renewable natural fibers.
