Kamelosserrano

Kamelosserrano is a nonprofit, sports-oriented association founded in 2004, with roots in outdoor activities dating back to 1980. Based in the Serra do Mar region of São Paulo state, it introduces visitors to the Atlantic Forest through guided trails and adventure experiences in locations around São Bernardo do Campo, Santo André, Rio Grande da Serra, Cubatão, and the nearby coast. Its activities include hiking, ecological expeditions, rappelling, zip-lining, climbing, mountaineering, and tree-based adventure courses.

The association also provides training in vertical techniques, first aid, aquatic rescue, and high-angle rescue, along with workshops and outdoor team-building support for businesses. For schools, tourism operators, and other organizations, it offers activity supervision, technical assistance, and services involving vertical-access techniques. Kamelosserrano emphasizes ethics, safety, and environmental preservation, promoting responsible conduct and low-impact practices in natural areas.

It also supports research projects and environmental education, and has contributed to international cooperation by training instructors in high-angle rescue for Angola’s national fire academy
