Kamenzer Jagdverband

Kamenzer Jagdverband e.V. is an association of hunters and hunting supporters serving the former Kamenz district in Saxony, Germany. It connects local members with hunting organizations at regional and national levels and shares information about hunting, wildlife management and conservation. The association presents hunting and game stewardship as part of rural life and as practical nature protection carried out alongside agriculture and forestry.

Its activities include jagdliches Schießen, hunting-dog work and tracking teams, traditional hunting customs, and projects focused on nature and species conservation, including attention to the partridge. The association organizes member gatherings, training and educational events, such as practical talks on tracking wounded game, and hunting-year opening shoots. It also provides news and guidance on topics affecting hunters, including wildlife disease, wolf management, hunting safety and relevant documents. Through public events, the Kamenzer Jagdverband introduces visitors to local wildlife, hunting traditions, wildlife products and the role of responsible stewardship. Its website offers updates, event information, resources and contacts for members and anyone interested in regional hunting and conservation.
