Kananaskis Nordic Spa

Kananaskis Nordic Spa is an alpine wellness destination in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, about 45 minutes southwest of Calgary. Set amid the forests and peaks of the Kananaskis Valley, it offers a nature-connected retreat centered on hydrotherapy, relaxation, and massage. Guests can follow a hot-and-cold wellness circuit through hot and mineral pools, cold plunges and cascades, Finnish and other saunas, steam cabins, and an exfoliation cabin. Quiet spaces, hammocks, fireside areas, and warm gathering and reflection pools provide places to rest between treatments and take in the mountain scenery.

Massage therapy, signature packages, and promotions complement the spa experience. Two Trees Bistro serves Canadian-sourced sharing platters and small plates, along with wines, craft beers, herbal teas, and espresso drinks. Visitors can book hydrotherapy access and massage services, purchase gift cards, or explore group options. The spa describes its approach as accessible and unpretentious, inviting guests to alternate warmth, cold, and rest at their own pace.
