Kanda Matsuri, one of Tokyo's most vibrant festivals, is deeply rooted in the community history of the Kanda region. Celebrated annually, it showcases the traditions of various local町会 (town associations) through spirited parades featuring intricately crafted神輿 (portable shrines). Each町会, such as Higashi Nihonbashi and Kanda Izumi, boasts unique 神輿 characterized by their size and design, often steeped in historical significance dating back to the Edo period.
