Kanizsa-Agrár

Kanizsa-Agrár Mezőgazdasági Zrt. is a Hungarian agricultural company based in Nagykanizsa, established in 2014 as the successor to the Kanizsa-Agrár Cooperative founded in 2007. Its activities combine arable crop production, wildlife management, game breeding and beekeeping, reflecting the company’s aim to build on local resources and operate across several agricultural sectors. It also develops organic farming and adds beekeeping products to its traditional product range, offering professional support alongside its products and services.

The company welcomes individual and group hunting guests throughout the year at Sági Vadaskert, a 700-hectare game reserve near Liszó, about 12 kilometres southwest of Nagykanizsa. Its landscape is divided equally between woodland and meadows or pasture. Red deer are the principal game species, alongside mouflon, fallow deer and wild boar; European bison are also kept for display and genetic conservation. The reserve is open to hunters, including bow hunters, and to visitors interested in nature. Kanizsa-Agrár also offers hunting accommodation and runs walnut and chestnut plantations. Its office is located at Miklósfa út 70 in Nagykanizsa.
