Kanku-Sho-Karate

Kanku-Sho-Karate Mühlheim e.V. is a karate club based in Mühlheim am Main, Germany, founded in August 2012. The club teaches Shotokan karate and offers training for both adults and children on several days each week. Its program presents karate as a practice that combines physical fitness, mental development, self-defense, tradition, and competition. The club’s educational content also covers Shotokan kata, the style’s basic principles, karate terminology, the Dojo Kun, and the origins and philosophy of karate.

Kanku-Sho-Karate Mühlheim e.V. is registered with the Hessian Karate Association and the German Karate Federation. The club has also supported young talent: two of its children were identified at a talent selection event in Frankfurt by national coaches and, from November 2012, were included in Germany’s national youth development team. The club shares information for prospective members and families, including details about its trainers, training schedules and locations, prices, and current news. Through its adult and children’s groups, it provides a local setting for learning and practicing Shotokan karate.
