Kanteen Venue & Events

Kanteen Venue & Events offers a compassionate, personalised setting for ashes memorials and living funerals in Waterford, Queensland. Set beside the river, the venue provides a calm, light-filled alternative to traditional memorial spaces for families in Logan, Brisbane and beyond. Its approach centres on giving people time and room to gather, reflect, share food and honour a loved one without the pressure of a short service.

Services include dignified memorials for people who have been cremated, as well as pre-planned living funerals that let individuals celebrate their lives with family and friends while they are present. Kanteen also provides funeral planning, repatriation services and round-the-clock support across Queensland. The team welcomes families of all beliefs and cultural identities, aiming to make each farewell respectful and true to the person’s story.

Guided by compassion, personalisation, integrity and excellence, Kanteen combines practical support with warm hospitality and careful attention to detail. Its goal is to help families create meaningful gatherings that feel humane, unhurried and connected to the life being remembered.
