About Kampuchea Action to Promote Education
KAPE Cambodia is the largest local NGO in the education sector in Cambodia. As a nonprofit organization, they are dedicated to implementing projects and conducting research at all levels of the education sector. Their beneficiaries include primary schools, secondary schools, and tertiary programs, with over 71,000 children and 1,650 school directors and teachers benefiting across 13 provinces in Cambodia.
KAPE works closely with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), as well as international organizations and local education partners to ensure the quality and accessibility of education in the country. With a strong foundation rooted in the Cambodia Assistance to Primary Education Project (CAPE), KAPE has grown into a registered nonprofit local NGO known for its commitment to improving instructional quality and educational opportunities. Through various projects such as Books for Cambodia, Inclusive Education Program, and Happy Cambodian Children Project, KAPE aims to enhance the learning experience and empower youth in Cambodia
