KAP NORDIC SKIERS

Kap Nordic Skiers is a community ski club welcoming winter enthusiasts to enjoy outdoor recreation in and around Kapuskasing. The club maintains groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing, as well as snowshoe routes, including the Birch Trail to Camp 3. Trail maps and current condition updates help visitors plan their outings, while a volunteer-managed chalet provides a place to warm up and connect with others.

The club offers memberships, day passes, and equipment rentals, with rates and membership forms available through its website. Seasonal programs include junior ski sessions, family activities, monthly breakfasts, and events such as the Nordic Loppet, Winterfest, and the Nordic Challenge, which features 4, 8, and 12 km distances. Kap Nordic Skiers also works with local organizations, sponsors, and volunteers to bring people together through active winter experiences.

Chalet hours vary by season and volunteer availability, so visitors are encouraged to check ahead. The club invites community members to participate, support events, and volunteer for board positions
