Kapwa Kapatid is a volunteer organization with a mission to empower less-privileged youth through education. The organization was founded on the spirit of helping one another through kindness and love after a devastating landslide in Payatas in 2003. Since then, Kapwa Kapatid has been dedicated to addressing the community's needs, with education being their highest priority.

To respond to the need for education, Kapwa Kapatid formed two programs. The first is the Kapatid Program, a weekly values formation session where volunteers teach life lessons to children from kinder to grade school. The second program is the Yaman Ang Pag-aralin Ang Kabataan (Yapak) Scholarships Program, created based on the tutees' desire to finish their schooling.

The scholarship has produced high school and college graduates, some of whom are the first in their family to achieve this level of education. The scholars have now become role models and leaders within the organization, paying back the community through their love and service. Kapwa Kapatid envisions a community of volunteers working together to empower underprivileged youth by providing opportunities to enrich their education.

They live by the words of Saint Mother Teresa, Do small things with great love, and strive to create a true family atmosphere for the children, where they have older siblings who they can call their Kapatid. Join Kapwa Kapatid in making a difference in the lives of these deserving youth
