Ashigaru Hoym e.V. is a local karate club in Hoym, within the city of Seeland, Germany, dedicated to traditional Shotokan karate. Its dojo welcomes visitors interested in learning about training and the club, and provides information on practice sessions, instructors, seminars and events. The club presents karate as a well-rounded activity that develops mobility, coordination, balance and fitness, while combining physical exercise with mental focus and self-defense principles. This makes it an active complement to the demands of everyday working life.

Ashigaru Hoym has also offered a “Jukuren” beginner course for adults aged 35 and over, with no upper age limit or other prerequisites stated. The website’s listed introductory course began in April 2023 and provided four weeks of free training at the Seelandhalle in Nachterstedt; this is a dated notice, not confirmation of a current course. Prospective members can contact the club by telephone or email for further information. Ashigaru Hoym shares club news, training details and related resources through its website.
