The Tashkent City Karate-Do Federation is a martial arts organization offering traditional karate training across Tashkent. Founded and officially registered in 2003, it operates 21 schools and has a team of 15 trainers, many developed within the federation. Its classes welcome children from age three, teenagers and adults, with beginner and advanced groups, individual coaching, adult fitness groups and women’s self-defense courses. The federation also offers belt grading, competition and seminar participation, sports camps, team-building activities and mountain outings.
Led by founder and chief instructor Rustam Bekmuratov, the organization focuses on physical skills alongside discipline, confidence, resilience and personal development. It also describes work with children with disabilities, children with special needs and children from orphanages. Students take part in local events and national and international tournaments, and federation teams have earned medals at world and Asian championships. The organization is a member of the International League of Traditional Martial Arts and invites prospective students to arrange a free trial session and choose a conveniently located school.
