Karaté Club Amboise

Karaté Club Amboise is a Shotokan karate club based at Gymnase Ménard in Amboise, France. It offers training for children, teenagers, and adults, including beginner and advanced classes. Children’s sessions for school-age members and adult classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while a dedicated Baby Karaté program introduces children aged 3 to 6 to the sport through activities that develop agility, flexibility, coordination, and motor skills. The sessions also encourage confidence, decision-making, sportsmanship, friendship, and respect.

For the 2026–2027 season, annual membership costs €195, including the federal licence, with reduced rates for families enrolling multiple members. Baby Karaté costs €140 per year. The club accepts several forms of support and payment, including sports vouchers and the Pass’Sport scheme. Its technical director, David Chéreau, is a seventh-dan karateka and internationally experienced referee. The club provides information and registration documents for prospective members and welcomes trial sessions during September. Interested people can contact the club by email or telephone for further details.
