Karate Do

Karate-Do Schlieren is a karate club offering martial arts training for children, young people and adults. Led by Anto Grgic and a team of instructors, the club supports participants at different experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, with individual guidance. Grgic has practised karate for more than 35 years, holds a second Dan in Shotokan, and is recognised by the Swiss Federal Office of Sport as a karate instructor for children’s and youth sports. The instructors also take part in regular professional development.

Training options include traditional karate, sparring and combat training, self-defence, and sessions shared with other members. The club presents karate as a way to build strength, endurance, mobility, coordination and body control, while developing concentration, confidence and the ability to respond to everyday stress. Participants can also enjoy sport as a community activity and make new contacts.

Karate-Do Schlieren shares training schedules, club news, team information and event galleries through its website.
