Karate i Kolding

Karate Kolding, presented as PederKarate, offers Shotokan karate instruction in Kolding for beginners and experienced practitioners seeking physical and personal development. Led by an instructor with 36 years of karate experience and a 7th dan in Shotokan, the teaching combines traditional technique with a contemporary approach, emphasizing focus, discipline, respect, confidence and control. Training is built around Shotokan’s three connected foundations: kihon, or basic techniques; kata, structured sequences that develop movement and understanding; and kumite, partner practice that develops timing, distance and application.

Sessions can address technique, balance, strength, movement and individual goals. Available services include one-to-one private instruction by arrangement, tailored Shotokan teaching for clubs, and focused masterclasses. Private lessons can accommodate both newcomers and experienced karateka, with content adapted to each participant’s level and interests.

There is currently no regular public class schedule; group training, events and other opportunities are announced through PederKarate’s Facebook, Instagram and TikTok channels when available. The instructor also describes ongoing learning and training in Japan as part of the teaching journey
