Okinawa Karate a Kobudo Liberec

OKINAWA KARATE A KOBUDO LIBEREC is a martial arts school in Liberec, Czech Republic, dedicated to traditional Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Shidokan. The school connects karate, kobudo, kyusho and self-defense within an approach that values practical technique alongside discipline, respect, self-control and personal responsibility. Its teaching follows an Okinawan tradition linked to the Federation International Okinawa Dento Shidokan Karate and Kobujutsu, and traces its lineage through masters Anko Itosu, Choshin Chibana and Katsuya Miyahira.

Training includes Shorin-Ryu karate, kata and their practical application, traditional Okinawan weapons, awareness of sensitive points and body mechanics, and self-defense. The school also offers Baby karate, providing movement and introductory karate practice for young children. Classes are intended for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to long-term students. Activities include regular dojo training, seminars and training camps, with an emphasis on building a supportive community. Based at Jablonecká 562 in Liberec, the school presents karate as an ongoing path of learning and character development, rather than a sport measured by match results.
