I Karatenord

Nordsjællands Karate Akademi (NKA) is a Shotokan karate club based in Fredensborg, Denmark, and part of Karatenord, a collaboration among clubs in North Zealand and across the water. The academy welcomes newcomers and experienced practitioners to train in Shotokan Karate-do, a discipline that combines strikes, punches, kicks, and blocks for defense and attack. The club presents karate not only as a fighting art but also as a way of life, with an emphasis on learning and shared participation.

Training takes place at Endrup Hall at Endrup School. NKA offers instruction from experienced, qualified instructors and accepts new members throughout the year. Prospective students can attend trial sessions and receive guidance on choosing a suitable class. The academy also provides information about membership, fees, training, and belt examinations; its instructors are licensed to conduct gradings up to second-degree black belt. The website includes details about karate clothing and equipment, as well as club contacts, training schedules, and grading updates. NKA’s welcoming community includes children, young people, adults, and families.
