Karate Nord

Karate Nord, also known as Shotokan Karate Gruppe Nord or Shotokan Karate Dantai Hokubu, is a group of Shotokan Karate practitioners focused on fostering cooperation among karate clubs. Its purpose is to connect participating clubs and support the development of Karate-Do through shared activities and exchange. The group’s work includes joint training sessions, tournaments, courses and training camps, providing opportunities for practitioners and clubs to learn and develop together.

Its website shares information about member clubs, competitions and event categories, including the Kodomo Cup and Kyu Cup. It also provides information on grading, instructor licences and the Dojo Kun, alongside details about Karate Nord and ways to make contact. Rather than presenting itself as a single karate school, Karate Nord serves as a collaborative network for clubs and practitioners with a shared interest in Shotokan Karate.

By bringing clubs together around training and events, it helps create a framework for cooperation and the ongoing development of the martial art in the region
