Karjalan Pojat

Karjalan Pojat is the communications channel and online publication of the North Karelia reserve forces, sharing news and information about reservist activities across the region. The site is maintained through the North Karelia Defence Support Association, which is administered by the North Karelia Reservist District and the North Karelia Reserve Officers’ District. These districts bring together local reserve officers’ clubs, reservist associations and reserve non-commissioned officers’ associations. Their work supports national defence readiness by promoting training and physical preparedness within their member organisations.

Karjalan Pojat offers current news, event listings, information about local defence activities and links to regional organisations. Visitors can also browse digital editions of the Karjalan Pojat magazine, historic issues and other publications, as well as access a materials library and media resources. The site provides information for people interested in joining reservist or reserve officer associations and highlights activities such as shooting, competitions, marches and outdoor events. Karjalan Poikien Kilta, a shared umbrella organisation for North Karelian defence groups, is also featured.
