Karmanos Kids

Karmanos Kids, LLC is an organization focused on improving the lives of children in Southeastern Michigan. Its work supports children’s wellness of mind, body, and spirit, early childhood development, and the benefits of natural childbirth. Through programs and supported organizations, Karmanos Kids connects families and communities with resources intended to promote healthy development and care.

Danialle Karmanos’ Work It Out is a results-oriented program that gives children tools to make healthy choices and build wellness from the inside out. The Cuddlers is a volunteer program offering comforting contact to hospitalized infants and toddlers who may otherwise lack this early interaction. The organization also supports the Karmanos Center for Natural Birth, which provides expectant mothers with a supportive, home-like setting for natural childbirth. Its nurses and caregivers are trained in holistic birth approaches, and families can receive education and relaxation techniques to help prepare for birth.

Based in Birmingham, Michigan, Karmanos Kids also recognizes other supported organizations and supporters. Its work brings together child wellness, early contact, and family-focused childbirth support.
