KarmItUp! is a community app built around mutual support, helping people exchange favors through a system of Karma stars rather than cash. Members can post requests for assistance or offer items and services, then connect with nearby users through a live map to arrange the details. Requests may include donated or loaned items, moving help, rides, couchsurfing, tutoring, and other services. Map listings can be filtered by type, category, effort level, urgency, or keyword.
When a favor is completed, the helper earns Karma stars from the person who received help. Stars can later be used to request favors, with amounts based on the category and effort involved. Both participants can leave ratings and comments, helping members build a reputation through completed interactions. The app also awards badges for helping and referrals, and offers a shareable Community Contribution Certificate summarizing a member’s activity and reputation. KarmItUp! is available on the App Store and Google Play.
