Karoo Wingshooting

Karoo Wingshooting is a boutique South African outfitter offering guided wing-shooting safaris from Graaff-Reinet. Its hunts take place on exclusive concessions and focus on sustainably managed, entirely wild game birds in their natural habitats. The team prepares shooting areas in advance to provide guests with a carefully organized safari experience.

The company specializes in Greywing Francolin hunts over trained English Pointers, and also offers walk-up hunting for other Francolin and Spurfowl species, as well as Guineafowl with pointing dogs. Additional packages include driven hunting, decoyed and flighted waterfowl shooting, and flighted hunts for pigeons, doves and sandgrouse. Guests can pursue a range of South African bird species, including ducks, geese, quail and other upland birds, subject to the available species and hunting seasons.

Karoo Wingshooting provides safari information and practical guidance for visitors, including advice on what to bring, rifle importation and taxidermy. The outfitter also shares accommodation details, videos, references and information about conservation and social responsibility.
