Karuizawa Kogen Golf Club is a golf and resort destination in Kita-Karuizawa, Gunma Prefecture, and part of the Taisei Construction Group. Set amid changing seasonal scenery with views of Mount Asama, the club offers an 18-hole course designed to combine broad fairways and moderate elevation changes with strategic play. The club’s amenities extend beyond the course. Visitors can stay overnight, dine in a restaurant with large windows overlooking Mount Asama, and unwind in the natural, free-flowing hot spring known as Yuyu no Yu. Karuizawa Kogen Golf Club also highlights its commitment to the natural environment: it was the first standalone golf course to be certified by Japan’s Environment Ministry as a “Nature Coexistence Site” under the 30by30 initiative.
