Karvoihin Katsomatta is an animal training and coaching service founded by Kia Punta, a qualified animal trainer based in Vantaa, Finland. The business primarily supports dogs and their owners, while also offering training for cats and horses. Its services are available across Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo and the wider Uusimaa region, with in-person home visits, courses, lectures, online courses and remote consultations.
Training options include puppy skills, everyday manners, leash walking, contact and motivation, enrichment activities, rally obedience and obedience training. The service also offers nail clipping, support during veterinary visits for fearful animals, and guidance for families preparing to welcome a baby. English-language training and behaviour consultations are available in person and online.
Karvoihin Katsomatta emphasizes animal welfare and practical, individualized guidance. Training is based on methods supported by scientific evidence and uses positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviour. Sessions also consider broader welfare factors that may contribute to challenging behaviour. The approach is calm, client-focused and designed to help owners find workable solutions for everyday life with their animals.
