KASAP, the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs, is a nonprofit coalition that unites Kentucky's 13 regional rape crisis centers. Established in 1990, KASAP serves as a central point of contact for sexual violence issues in Kentucky. Their mission is to speak with a unified voice against sexual victimization by providing technical assistance to member programs and professionals, advocating for improvements in public policy, fostering coalition building among members, and promoting prevention and public awareness about sexual violence and related issues.

KASAP's local programs, often referred to as rape crisis centers, offer support not only to survivors of rape but also to survivors of any type of sexual harassment, assault, or violence, as well as their friends and family members. While KASAP does not provide crisis services, they offer advocacy, counseling, and referrals through their local programs and the national RAINN hotline. In addition to their advocacy work, KASAP focuses on prevention by providing evidence-based prevention programming in schools and communities.

They also offer training and education to program staff, community partners, and the public on how to prevent sexual violence and provide the best care for survivors. KASAP is committed to creating a world free from sexual violence and stands as a leader in Kentucky's fight against sexual assault
