Kasper Gröhnin sukuseura is a Finnish family association founded in Kitee on 29 July 1990. Its founding agreement was signed by Sirkka Gröhn, Uuno Gröhn, Jaakko Lamminsalo and Mirja Pirhonen. Membership is open to people who belong to the family through either their father or mother, as well as those connected to the family by marriage.
The association’s work centres on preserving and sharing family history, strengthening connections among relatives, and keeping members informed about the family and the society. Its website provides material about the family’s history and Kasper Gröhn, along with stories, membership information, newsletters and details about the board. Members also have access to a family book and information about the association’s emblem and pennant.
The society holds its annual meeting every other year in July, on the Saturday after Jaakko’s Day, and has held information events in intervening years. It also organises trips to places connected with the family, with past destinations including Riga, Brzeg and Käkisalmi
